The Governor of Taif, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud, visited a number of residential neighborhoods and sites in the (Al-Wissam) neighborhood that were damaged by the heavy rains that the governorate witnessed over the past two days, accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Taif Governorate, Nasser Al-Subaie, the Director of the Governorate Police, Major General Othman Al-Youssef, and the Secretary of the Secretariat. Engineer Nasser Al-Rehaili, Director of Civil Defense Brigadier General Yasser Al-Sharif, and a number of leaders in government agencies.
The Governor of Taif visited a number of sites and met a number of residents of the neighborhoods, listening to their demands and observations, and standing on the damaged houses due to the falling rocks and the drowning of others.
In his speech to the people, Prince Saud affirmed the wise leadership’s keenness on the comfort of citizens and residents, as this visit comes under the directives of the advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, the governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and with the personal follow-up of his deputy, Prince Badr bin Sultan, to stand on the sites, listen to citizens, submit reports and find urgent solutions.
