The President of the World Bank Group, David Malpass, expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the Kingdom’s contribution and assistance in evacuating the Bank’s employees from the Republic of Sudan to the Kingdom.
In a letter sent to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, he said: “We express our gratitude and appreciation for the generous support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to our employees in Sudan, and the Kingdom’s rapid initiative and firm support.”
He also expressed his thanks to the Kingdom’s embassy in the Republic of Sudan and its employees for the care and concern for the bank’s employees and their families, which had a great impact in light of this crisis.
