A number of the people and residents of the Sharia schemes (east of Makkah Al-Mukarramah) called on the Municipality of the Holy Capital to prune the trees located in the central islands of the main streets.
Khaled Al-Harbi, Abdullah Muhammad Al-Otaibi, and Khaled Al-Zahrani told Okaz: The Municipality has worked over the past years to plant many trees in the main streets and squares linking the Sharia schemes. In an important step to enhance the quality of life and add beauty to these streets, noting that these trees and plants are in dire need of trimming and cutting off excesses from them.
And they added, saying: Some trees obscure the view; Especially those close to traffic lights, noting that the trees on Omar Qadi Street; Which is the main and vital artery of Al-Sharia, obscuring the view of the shops on the service road adjacent to the main street.
