Three people were shot dead today (Sunday) in the city of Setubal, about 45 km south of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. According to the police, the attacker committed suicide after carrying out the crime.
Public Security Police Commissioner Joao Freire said, “There are 4 bodies presumed to be victims of shooting, but the reasons and details are not yet known,” explaining that the police criminal affairs agency is conducting an investigation at the scene.
And CNN Portugal had indicated that a shooting took place at around eight o’clock in the morning in a poor neighborhood in Setubal, indicating that the gunman committed suicide when the police forces arrived at the scene.
