The head of the Council of Scholars of Pakistan, Tahir Mahmoud Ashrafi, praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, in organizing the largest military evacuation from Sudan to transport the Kingdom’s nationals and the nationals of 100 countries and the diplomatic missions of Arab, Gulf, European and American countries. And African and international organizations, from the port of Port Sudan by sea to the port of Jeddah, under the supervision of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces.
Ashrafi indicated that this comes within a comprehensive plan and an integrated system of reception services, transportation, nutrition, housing, medical care and health preventive examinations for all those evacuated from Sudan due to the current crisis conditions, as they are accommodated in the largest hotels in the city of Jeddah and all free services are provided according to the highest levels for accompanying families and women. And the elderly and children, until they left their countries in coordination with their accredited embassies and consulates of their countries that requested Saudi support and received it to the fullest.
He added: Everyone is watching the grinding war in Sudan for more than two weeks between the people of the same country, which are dangerous, rapid and destructive events, changes and developments that affect and tamper with the security and stability of society and threaten the future and unity of the brotherly Sudanese people. And the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of countries that support the promotion of peace, a cease-fire and an end to the conflict by communicating around the clock to mediate between the two parties to the conflict, and searching for immediate and comprehensive peaceful solutions to stop bloodshed and preserve a decent life for the brotherly Sudanese people.
The Chairman of the Pakistan Scholars Council praised the Saudi efforts to serve Islam and Muslims, take care of the Two Holy Mosques and their pilgrims, defend the causes of the Arab and Islamic nation, fully support the Palestinian cause, and promote peace in Kashmir, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the kingdom of humanity and the big brother of the Arab and Islamic countries.
