The Ministry of Education participated in the Kingdom’s pavilion held at the Tunis International Book Fair 2023 in its 37th session, which was inaugurated (Friday) by Tunisian President Kais Saied, at the Palace of Exhibitions in the capital, Tunis, and will last for 10 days, from April 28 to May 7, under the title “Fly the Wings of Books.” ».
The Ministry of Education, during its participation in the Kingdom’s pavilion, is reviewing all the recent versions of curricula, specialized educational and educational studies, and the contents of the Curriculum Development Center, as part of its comprehensive development plan for educational curricula that focuses on basic skills, talent development and personality building, through the inclusion of 73 new curricula, Developing and improving 156 curricula, and making more than 25,000 modifications and updates to the contents of existing curricula.
The Ministry of Education sheds light, as part of its participation in the Tunis International Book Fair, on the advanced programs in e-learning and distance education, and the qualitative shift that accompanied the Ministry of Education’s achievement of the goals of Vision 2030, and the development the Kingdom is witnessing at all levels and fields, by highlighting what has been achieved. From the success and international acclaim of the e-learning platforms, the Madrasati and Rawdati platforms, of which the number of beneficiaries reached more than 6 million male and female students, using a wide range of interactive and enriching tools, programs and applications within the digital content, as well as digital competitions, in addition to the publications and studies included in the participation of universities. On the sidelines of the Saudi participation, a cultural program will be presented by the Literature and Translation Authority, with the participation of a number of Saudi academics, writers, and media professionals. It includes critical, poetic and media events, as well as introducing the scientific and cultural movement in the Kingdom, in a way that is consistent with its literary status and enhances its presence in such international forums.
