The Environmental Security Special Forces arrested (5) violators of the environmental law; For exploiting the deposits without a license, in the regions of Riyadh, Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
The official spokesman for the Special Forces for Environmental Security, Colonel Abdul Rahman Al-Otaibi, stated that (9) mechanisms used for transporting sand and dredging soil were seized, and (3) residents of Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Yemeni nationalities and two citizens were working on them, and regular procedures were applied against them.
He urged to report any cases of assault on the environment or wildlife to the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
