More than 7,000 kindergarten teachers took the initiative to join the “Qualifying Program for Kindergarten Teachers for Training in Musical Arts” in its first phase, which is being implemented under the umbrella of the “Cultural Capacity Development Strategy”, in partnership between the Ministries of Culture and Education, and under the supervision of the Music Authority.
The strategy aims to achieve a number of results, the most important of which is to provide the opportunity for the creative talents of the country’s sons and daughters to discover their capabilities from an early age, and to develop and develop them, in a way that contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the educational and cultural sectors regionally and internationally.
The first phase of the qualifying program was launched on Sunday, and will last for four weeks, under the supervision of the Music Authority of the Ministry of Culture, and experts specializing in education and training for kindergarten, while registration for the second phase of the program will be announced and made available to students at a later time.
It is noteworthy that the program aims to build the cognitive and performance skills of kindergarten teachers related to the implementation of musical activities directed to children, through learning about the characteristics of sound and related terminology.
