The General Directorate of Passports confirmed the possibility of renewing the residency of residents of Sudanese nationality who are in their country in the event that they are unable to return to Saudi Arabia, due to the ongoing war in Sudan, through the electronic services available in the Absher or Muqeem system, which enables people to renew their residency or their sponsors without the need for their presence. Inside Saudi Arabia, after paying the fees through the payment service through the Absher or Muqeem platform for the employer, and it is required that the validity of the Muqeem ID is not less than 90 days.
The Director General of Passports, Lieutenant-General Suleiman Al-Yahya, previously announced that all those who were evacuated from among the nationals and arrived in Saudi Arabia do not have an entry visa to Saudi Arabia, so they are granted free visas, and whoever loses his document obtains another document to facilitate their movement and pave the way for arrangements for their departure later.
