The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization announced the activation of obtaining an appointment to conduct the periodic technical inspection of vehicles, provided that it is applied by 50% on the tracks of technical inspection stations in all regions.
This step comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Saudi specifications in organizing the appointment booking mechanism, reducing crowding, saving time and effort, improving the experience of beneficiaries, and facilitating the process of technical inspection of vehicles.
The “Saudi Specifications” indicated that it had launched an electronic platform dedicated to booking periodic technical inspection appointments and serves vehicle owners to know the locations closest to them and book the appropriate date, and after the completion of the inspection process, the vehicle inspection report is sent to the beneficiary electronically in integration with the relevant authorities, inviting those wishing to conduct the technical inspection.
