The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) that the cultural attaché building in Sudan was stormed on Tuesday morning by an armed group that destroyed equipment and cameras and seized some of the attaché’s property.
Saudi Arabia condemned in the strongest terms the storming of the attaché building in Khartoum, calling for respect for the sanctity of diplomatic missions and for the perpetrators to be punished.
The Kingdom renewed its call to stop the military escalation between the conflicting parties in Sudan, to end the violence, and to provide the necessary protection for diplomats, residents, and Sudanese civilians.
