The Public Prosecution Council, headed by Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujeeb, approved updating the work rules for investigation lieutenants.
The updated rules come in the form of governance texts that contribute to the organization and development of the work of the investigation lieutenants, as they included a statement of the duties and rights entrusted to this important rank of the career cycle of the members of the Public Prosecution Office. They have, in addition to the standards for evaluating the work of lieutenants, indicators for measuring performance, outputs, follow-up, control and accountability.
It is worth noting that the update of these rules came in the context of the Public Prosecution’s governance of all its work mechanisms and the continuous and permanent updating of that.
