One person was killed and three others were injured today (Wednesday) in the American city of Atlanta, as a result of a gunman shooting several people in the city center near Northside Medical Hospital.
And the Atlanta police, in the US state of Georgia, said: One person was killed and three others were taken to hospital, explaining that they are looking for a gunman who shot several people in downtown Atlanta near Northside Medical Hospital, and the police told CNN that the shooter is known to them and is still at large.
The Atlanta Police Department released photos showing the suspected shooter wearing a hoodie, saying it was believed to be the active shooter based on the initial investigation.
Several fire engines, an armored police vehicle and members of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office were seen at the scene.
And the police department wrote in a tweet on its Twitter account that the shooter was inside a building on West Peachtree Street, between 12th and 13th Streets, indicating that the victims fell in a downtown building, and that it was investigating a shooting in a building in the Midtown neighborhood.
