The President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reviewed, at the headquarters of the Presidential Palace in Algiers, yesterday, during his meeting with the Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. The joint bilateral to contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, within the framework of the official visit by Al-Sheikh, in response to the invitation he received from the Speaker of the Algerian National Assembly.

For his part, the President of the Algerian Republic entrusted Al-Sheikh with his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the government and people of Saudi Arabia, and his wishes for further success. In a statement to the media after the reception, the Speaker of the Shura Council thanked Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for the warm reception, hoping that the meetings of the Shura Council delegation would result in constructive and permanent cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields. He referred to the depth of the long-standing bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, and the strong fraternal relations that unite the leaderships of the two countries and their two brotherly peoples.
On the other hand, the Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh, held an official session of talks with the Speaker of the Algerian National Assembly, Saleh Goujil, and Al-Sheikh expressed, during the discussion session, his happiness at visiting the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, advancing his thanks to the Speaker of the National Assembly for the kind invitation and warm reception, expressing He expressed his aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields, especially parliamentarism between the Shura Council and the Algerian National Assembly, stressing the importance of increasing the level of coordination between the two councils in all international and regional parliamentary forums.
The Speaker of the Shura Council praised the stances presented by the Algerian Democratic Republic of Algeria in all fields and its unwavering pride in its Arabism and Islam.
For his part, the Speaker of the Algerian National Assembly welcomed the Saudi delegation, stressing the depth of the relations between the two countries, appreciating the support provided by Saudi Arabia to the Algerian government and people in various circumstances, and over the years, looking forward at the same time to strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields, especially parliamentary ones.
He praised the Kingdom’s pivotal and permanent positions on various international and regional issues, praising its international efforts to establish international peace and security, and its wise decisions.
