The Republic of Yemen strongly condemned the attack by an armed group on the headquarters of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Sudan, tampering with it, sabotaging its contents and seizing some of its property.
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry said in a statement, on Wednesday, that this raid constitutes a violation of the sanctity of diplomatic missions and a violation of international laws and covenants.
The statement praised the important role played by the Kingdom, its great efforts, and its pivotal facilities, to evacuate the nationals of many countries of the world, in light of the emergency and unfortunate conditions that the Republic of Sudan is witnessing.
