Today (Thursday), the Education Department in the Eastern Region opened an extensive investigation into the incident of a teacher beating a student in an elementary school in Saihat Governorate.
The spokesman for Eastern Education, Director of the Media and Communication Department, Saeed Al-Bahis, told Okaz: “The department is represented by a specialized committee that has initiated an investigation into the incident to find out its details, and regular action will be taken in such cases.”
And the social networking sites circulated a clip of a teacher severely beating his student, as one of the student’s colleagues mentioned that the teacher was angry at the student’s conversation with his colleague during the class, so he took the initiative to punish him by beating and kicking.
