The Water and Electricity Regulatory Authority explained That the outages to which the Shariat Al-Mujahideen neighborhood, northeast of Makkah Al-Mukarramah was exposed, came as a result of the weather condition that affected the electrical network in the neighborhood, indicating that it followed the work of the technical teams of the Saudi Electricity Company in dealing with the outage until the electric service was gradually restored to the affected subscribers in the neighborhood.
This came in response to the news published in “Okaz” yesterday (Wednesday), May 3, 2023, entitled“Disruptions in the Mujahideen Shariat Movement.”
The Water and Electricity Regulatory Authority confirmed that it is constantly following up on the implementation of the company’s work in enhancing service reliability throughout the Kingdom, including the Shariat Al-Mujahidin neighborhood, where the Saudi Electricity Company has implemented a number of projects to replace, enhance and automate the electrical network in the Shariat Al-Mujahideen neighborhood at a cost exceeding 50 million. riyals, which will contribute to enhancing the reliability of the electric service in the neighborhood. The authority calls on all consumers to benefit from all the channels available to the authority regarding their requests and observations related to the electrical service.
