The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered, (Thursday), a shipment of medicines to the National Drug Supply Program at the Ministry of Public Health and Population in Aden Governorate.
The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Muhammad Buhaibeh, stated that the shipment comes as an emergency response to the request of the Ministry of Health, and includes 28 locomotives of medicines for diabetes, high blood pressure, fats, and children’s painkillers, in addition to intravenous solutions and sterilizers that will be distributed to the governorates according to the distribution plan approved by the ministry and the need of each governorate. Pointing out that this shipment will contribute to strengthening the health work system in health facilities, and will reduce burdens on patients who desperately need it.
And he appreciated the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – represented by the King Salman Relief Center – which is the most important supportive partner for the health sector in light of the current circumstances the country is going through, indicating that this embodies the ties of kinship and the distinguished fraternal relations between the Kingdom and Yemen.
