Yesterday evening (Thursday), the Director General of Education in Jeddah Governorate, Dr. Nayef Al-Zari, crowned the winning school teams of the first and second places in the 2023 Schools Football League for the intermediate and secondary stages, after the two closing matches that were held at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Center Stadium in Al-Ahly Club, in the presence of the Director General of the Office The branch of the Ministry of Sports in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Abdulaziz bin Abboud, and the CEO of Al-Ahly Club, Walid Moaz.
Zaid bin Sahl School won the first place for the secondary stage after its victory over Al-Aqsa Private School. Al-Hudaybiya School achieved first place at the intermediate stage level, while Suhaib bin Sinan School came in second place.
The Director General also crowned the winning schools of the 2023 Basketball League Championship, as Dar Jana International School won first place for the intermediate stage after its victory over Dar Al Dhikr Al Ahlia School, while Dar Jana International School won first place for the secondary stage, and Jeddah International School came second.
The Director General crowned the winners of the 2023 Volleyball League Championship, as Al-Amjad Private Intermediate School won first place and the championship cup after its team defeated the volleyball team of Al-Marwa Intermediate School, while Al-Aqsa Private School achieved first place at the secondary level after defeating Al-Falah Private School.
It is noteworthy that the Schools League in its fourth edition is held under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Education represented by the Saudi Federation for School Sports and the “Sela” company, while the organization of the tournament in Jeddah Education was supervised by the Educational Supervision Department “Department of Physical Education”, and the number of students participating in the league in all More than 6,000 students from the three academic levels participated in the games in Jeddah schools, and 400 teachers participated in the implementation of the league. The league aims to discover and enhance the skills of gifted students in sports, hone their talents, and create more achievements in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
