Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh today (Saturday) with the President of the United Nations General Assembly at its 77th session, Mr. Chaba Kiruchi.
During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in the Republic of Sudan, emphasizing ending the conflict, sparing the Sudanese people from further suffering, and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to the affected areas.
The two sides discussed developments in the region, and exchanged views on issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, and the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel.
