Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers and Envoy for Climate Affairs, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, received, at the Ministry’s office in Riyadh today, the President of the United Nations General Assembly at its 77th session, Chaba Kiruchi.
During the reception, the two sides discussed the situation in the region and the international efforts exerted in this regard. They also discussed the Kingdom’s efforts and initiatives in the field of preserving the environment and limiting climate change, including the Saudi Green Initiatives and the Green Middle East, in addition to many initiatives aimed at access to renewable energy and neutrality. The meeting was attended by the Kingdom’s permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel.
