The Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel, received, in New York City, the Chairman of the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information, Chairman of the National Committee for Geographical Names, Dr. Eng. Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Sail, and his accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of the Kingdom’s delegation’s participation in the meetings of the United Nations Group of Experts. The meeting discussed the efforts of the National Committee for Geographical Names and the work carried out by the authority in this regard, and to get acquainted with the Arabic Division of Geographical Names.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation presented a number of copies of the official map of the Kingdom in both Arabic and English.
