In the second attack in less than 72 hours, the Houthi militia assassinated today (Sunday) a former security director with a drone in the Al-Ma’afer district, west of Taiz Governorate.
Security sources said that a Houthi drone bombed the car of Colonel Tawfiq Jabari al-Waqar while it was passing through the al-Kadha area in the Ma’afer district, south of Taiz, killing Colonel al-Waqar and wounding a number of those who were with him in the car.
Colonel Tawfiq Al-Waqar joined the National Resistance Forces after his dismissal from the Security Department of the Jabal Habashi Directorate.
Two days ago, the Houthi militia targeted, with drones, equipment for paving the Kadha road leading from the (besieged) city of Taiz to the city of Mocha.
