Hamidti said in a tweet today (Saturday): “We welcome the joint statement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America regarding the start of talks between the Sudanese parties in the city of Jeddah, and we commend the regional and international efforts exerted to reach a ceasefire that facilitates the opening of humanitarian corridors that enable citizens to obtain basic services.” ». He added, “We adhere to our firm and declared position on the need to reach a civilian transitional government that establishes a sustainable democratic transition that achieves the aspirations of our people for security, stability and development.”
