During the year 2022, the Child Helpline received (31,770) calls, of which (12,541) were called by Aljada, i.e. (39%) of the total number of calls. The Riyadh region recorded the highest number of incoming calls, then Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, then the Eastern region, and the vast majority of callers are citizens (95%). The child support line explained to Okaz that mental and social health problems and problems of peer relationships have decreased from 2019 to 2022, due to the efforts made by the line in providing consultations and educating children and educators, in addition to the immediate response to complaints and communications and the provision of consultation in complete confidentiality. Pointing out that he receives all problems related to childhood and adolescence from all over the Kingdom, indicating that (92%) of the calls were among the most common categories, abuse and violence, family relations problems, psychological and social health problems, legal problems, school problems and peer relations.
