The head of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, received today (Tuesday) the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Yemen, Muhammad Saeed Al Jaber, in the interim capital, Aden. Presidential Council and the government with the support of the Saudi-led Legitimacy Support Coalition.
The agency stated that the meeting discussed Saudi mediation efforts to renew the armistice, alleviate human suffering, a cease-fire, and opportunities to reach a comprehensive political solution in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the Saudi efforts in this regard, based on its early initiative to bring peace to Yemen, and to fulfill the aspirations of the Yemeni people to end the coup and restore state institutions, security, stability and development, appreciating the generous Saudi humanitarian and development efforts through its various programs and initiatives, led by the King Salman Relief Center. and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen.
