It is noteworthy that the Public Roads Authority announced the closure of the Shaar obstacle for a period of 4 months, starting from 10/6/1444, to carry out a package of maintenance work on Aqaba, calling on everyone to use alternative roads during the period of maintenance work such as the Rib obstacle, the Al-Ja’dah obstacle, and the Al-Tawhid obstacle. , and the obstacle of the deaf, and the obstacle of twine. The authority confirmed that the closure will be completely from 6 pm to 6 am, with only trucks allowed to cross through the Shaar obstacle from 6 am to 6 pm, as a package of maintenance work will be carried out at the obstacle, including scraping and asphalting works, in addition to the implementation of concrete barriers.
