The governor of Rijal Al-Ma’a, Al-Hassan bin Abdul-Khaliq Al-Hafzi, instructed to intensify the efforts made by all sectors to organize the traffic on the Al-Samaa obstacle after diverting the traffic to it after the Shaar obstacle was closed for maintenance, by establishing an operations room that includes a number of sectors in the governorate, as he directed the necessity of removing rockslides urgently. It occurs when it rains so as not to obstruct the traffic on the Aqaba, as well as to raise the level of readiness of the maintenance teams for any emergency, calling at the same time for the need to be careful while driving on the Aqaba, especially when it rains, and to adhere to the instructions to ensure the safety of travelers.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Samaa Aqaba in Rijal Al-Ma’a Governorate is witnessing a traffic density these days after the closure of the Sha’ar Aqaba for a period of four months, starting from 10/6/1444 AH, to carry out a package of maintenance works at Aqaba, which necessitated the use of alternative roads during the period of maintenance work, such as the Dhale’a Aqaba, Al-Ja’dah Aqaba, And the obstacle of monotheism, and the obstacle of the deaf, and the obstacle of Barmah.
