The appointment of the Kingdom did not lag behind the time and place of the unfortunate event; Rather, it is always considered the first with all its capabilities to ease the human affliction, limit its pain, and heal its wounds through an official role, popular support, and charitable integration, which is unparalleled.
And the Saudi bridge was extended for the relief of the brotherly Sudanese people only based on its humanitarian and pioneering role towards human societies around the world, and a sense of the importance of this influential role in alleviating human suffering in order to live a decent life.
The Kingdom initiated the establishment of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, to be an international center dedicated to relief and humanitarian work. Its activities were launched in May 2015, with a capital of one billion riyals, under the guidance and generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
Saudi relief is based on lofty humanitarian goals, based on providing aid to the needy, and relief to the afflicted anywhere in the world, with an accurate monitoring mechanism and advanced and rapid transportation methods, through the use of United Nations organizations and international and local non-profit organizations with high reliability in the beneficiary countries.
The Kingdom is one of the most receiving countries for visitors (refugees inside the Kingdom), and it provides them with the opportunity for free treatment and education, and is keen on their integration into society, through their presence in all regions of the Kingdom, and providing job and education opportunities in public schools.
Based on the Kingdom’s humanitarian identity, it seeks to alleviate the suffering of every human being by providing the basics of a decent life such as shelter, education, nutrition and treatment.
