Today (Wednesday), the head of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, received an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz; To attend the Arab Summit to be held in Jeddah on May 19.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Yemen, Muhammad Saeed Al Jaber, said in tweets on his Twitter account: “I had the honor today to hand over the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, to attend the meeting of the League of Arab States Council at the summit level. Which will be held in Jeddah Governorate on 10/29/1444 corresponding to 5/19/2023.
Yemen is expected to participate with a high-level delegation led by the Chairman of the Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the efforts made by the Saudi leadership, government and people to host and make the work of the thirty-second regular Arab Summit a success, and its well-known concern for the interests of the nation and restoring its collective role to face all challenges.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council affirmed Yemen’s support for the pioneering Saudi efforts in defending the nation’s issues, and pushing joint Arab action to broader horizons, expressing his confidence that the Jeddah summit represents an important turning point in this regard.
