Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today (Wednesday) that the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip has not ended, vowing to continue bombing the Strip.
“This operation has not ended,” Netanyahu said in a speech broadcast on Israeli television. “We continue to strike. We started it together, and we will continue it together.”
And renewed Israeli raids and shelling on several areas in the Gaza Strip, while the Israeli occupation army said that it targeted the rocket launchers in the Strip, and sites of the Islamic Jihad movement in Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 21 people were killed and 54 others were injured as a result of the Israeli raids since dawn on Tuesday on Gaza.
Media professionals monitored 250 rockets launched from Gaza towards Israel within three hours today, while the Israeli occupation army said that it targeted 40 rocket launchers in Gaza.
Israeli media reported that sirens sounded in the outskirts of Tel Aviv and central Israel, and Palestinian rockets reached central Tel Aviv and disrupted navigation at Ben Gurion Airport.
On the other hand, the permanent representative of the State of Palestine to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, said that the Arab League Council will hold an urgent session at the level of permanent delegates today to discuss the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, explaining in press statements that the meeting will take place at the request of Egypt and the State of Palestine. and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
He pointed out that the urgent meeting will also discuss the request to provide international protection for the Palestinian people against the continuous and escalating Israeli aggression, the latest of which was the perpetration of a heinous massacre in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, in which dozens of Palestinian citizens were killed and wounded.
