The Israeli occupation forces continue to assassinate leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine. The commander of the southern command of the Israeli army, Major General Eliezer Toledano, announced today (Thursday) that the army had been monitoring the leader, Ahmed Abu Daqqa, for two days before targeting him, according to the Times of Israel.
And the Islamic Jihad Movement announced the killing of the leader of the Al-Quds Brigades (the armed wing of the movement), Ahmed Abu Daqqa, after targeting his house in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported that Abu Daqqa was killed and 3 others were wounded in the raid that targeted his house today (Thursday) in the town of Bani Suhaila in Khan Yunis.
Abu Daqqa was the deputy of Ali Ghali, commander of the missile unit in the Al-Quds Brigades, who was assassinated yesterday.
The army confirmed that 25 members of the Jihad Movement were arrested during raids in the West Bank today.
