The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center today (Saturday) handed over 24,000 tons of wheat to the World Food Program in Aden Governorate, for distribution to needy and displaced families in 6 Yemeni governorates, as part of a project to support food security in Yemen funded by the Center.
The director of the King Salman Relief Center office in Aden, Saleh Al-Dhubiani, said: “The wheat grain will be transported to the grain silo mills to be grinded and prepared, and then distributed to the beneficiaries in the targeted areas,” stressing that this comes within the humanitarian and relief efforts that Saudi Arabia is carrying out, represented by its humanitarian arm, the King Center. Salman Relief to provide food security for the Yemeni people and improve their living conditions in various fields.
