The Republic of Yemen welcomed the signing of the “Jeddah Declaration” between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan regarding the commitment to protect civilians. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, broadcast by the official Yemeni News Agency (Saba), expressed its hope that this agreement would represent a positive step towards enhancing confidence between the two parties, and would pave the way for other steps that would end the suffering of the Sudanese people and establish a subsequent period of peace and political stability.
