The commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Lieutenant General Muhammad Hamdan Daglo, “Hamidti”, denied the reports of his death in an audio recording he posted on his Twitter account, stressing that he is roaming the areas of the capital, Khartoum. The commander of the Rapid Support Forces called on his forces to fight what he called thieves, and to help the Sudanese people and meet their needs.
Yesterday (Sunday), the Sudanese army commander, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, issued a decision to freeze the accounts of the Rapid Support Forces and its companies in Sudanese banks, internally and externally. Al-Burhan prevented the disbursement of any entitlements or budgets to the Rapid Support Forces.
And the office of the head of the Sudanese army, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, stated in a statement that he had relieved the governor of the Central Bank, Hussein Yahya Jangoul, and appointed Al-Burhan, Barai Al-Siddiq Ahmed, one of Jangoul’s deputies, as the new governor of the bank.
For its part, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the revolutionary forces of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia for attacking and forcibly entering the Jabra and Ahmed Qassem Heart and Kidney Hospitals by assaulting medical personnel, terrorizing patients and stealing ambulances, which led the two hospital administrations to take a decision to transfer patients to other safe hospitals.
