The Royal Commission for the City of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites, and the government agencies concerned with serving the guests of Rahman, have begun the work of preparing and equipping the holy sites in preparation for the Hajj season this year.
Camp cleaning work and electrical loads work continues in some locations in anticipation of high electricity consumption during the season, in addition to water installations and maintenance of toilets in the three shrines, and maintenance of communication lines.
The works include maintenance of the main and secondary streets, preparing sidewalks, placing beds for trees located in the median islands between the main streets leading to the holy sites, and completing the work of placing barriers around the camps.
On the other hand, the operating company of the Holy Sites Train carried out test trips around the clock to ensure the readiness of the carriages and the nine stops spread across the three sites.
