Today, the Ministry of the Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death penalty for one of the perpetrators in the Qassim region, as follows:
God Almighty said: (The recompense of those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is only that they be killed or crucified or their hands cut off. M and their feet from the opposition or exiled from the land that is for them disgrace in this world and in the Hereafter a great punishment).
Yasser bin Muhammad Al-Asmari, a Saudi national, established a terrorist cell seeking to carry out terrorist and subversive acts inside the Kingdom and attack security men, and communicated with terrorist organizations in conflict areas to provide support for his cell, adopting the takfiri approach and pledging allegiance to the leader of a terrorist organization and sheltering a number of people with terrorist ideology. Recruiting and training them in making explosives and assigning them to locate some sites to target, seeking to buy a large amount of explosive materials and weapons and hiding them, seizing chemicals to use in cell targets, manufacturing and collecting explosive materials, possessing and using them with the intent of breaching security, financing terrorism and its crimes, and possessing a gun and ammunition. And his participation in hostilities in conflict areas, and helping others to get out to those areas, and by referring him to the Specialized Criminal Court, a document was issued against him stating that he was found guilty of what was attributed to him, and a judgment was issued to kill him as a ta’zir. It was decided by Sharia, and his reference supported the right of the aforementioned offender.
The death sentence was implemented, as a ta’zir, by the offender, Yasser bin Muhammad Al-Asmari, today (Monday), on 10/25/1444 AH, corresponding to 5/15/2023, in the Qassim region.
The Ministry of the Interior affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom’s government to establish security, achieve justice, and implement God’s rulings for everyone who transgresses the innocent and sheds their blood. God and the Pacific to either way.
