The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on the weather for today (Tuesday), – God Almighty willing – that the opportunity is still ripe for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and showers of hail in parts of the regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha extending to the heights of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, While the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy in parts of the regions of Al-Qassim, Hail, Riyadh and the eastern region, interspersed with formations of rainy thunderclouds preceded by activity in dusty surface winds.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea is southerly to southwesterly, gradually turning to westerly at a speed of 10-25 km/h, and the wave height is from half a meter to a meter, and the sea is light waves, while the movement of surface winds in the Arabian Gulf is westerly to northerly. Westerly, gradually turning northerly to northeasterly, at a speed of 15-30 km/h in the northern part, and southwesterly to northwesterly, at a speed of 18-38 km/h in the southern part.
