The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on the weather for today (Wednesday), – God willing – that the opportunity is still ripe for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of the regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha, extending to the heights of the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. While the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy in parts of the regions of Al-Qassim, Hail, Riyadh and the eastern region, interspersed with formations of rainy thunderclouds preceded by activity in dusty surface winds.
The report indicated that the movement of the surface winds in the Red Sea is southerly to southwesterly, gradually turning to westerly at a speed of 10-25 km/h, and the wave height is from half a meter to a meter, and the sea is light waves, while the movement of surface winds in the Arabian Gulf is westerly to northerly. Westerly to westerly, at a speed of 15-30 km/h in the southern part, and northwesterly to northeasterly, at a speed of 15-30 km/h in the northern part. The wave height ranges from half a meter to a meter, and the sea condition is light waves.
