The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to the leaders of the security sectors participating in the security campaign to combat drugs.
While standing on the progress of work from the central operations room at the ministry’s headquarters, he stressed that the campaign that comes with the support, guidance and leadership of the Crown Prince is achieving tangible results, indicating that it is still in its infancy, and the strong strikes against drug dealers and smugglers are continuing, and it will remain firm and will not leave room for smugglers or promoters. By targeting our youth or tampering with security in any way, appreciating the great efforts made by the security men in the fight against drugs, sensing their role in preserving the security of the homeland and protecting it from the danger of the drug scourge, directing to convey his greetings to the security men working in all regions.
He stressed the importance of citizen awareness and his role in combating drugs by reporting drug dealers and smugglers, stressing that everyone’s reports are dealt with in strict confidence.
During the visit, the Minister of Interior listened to an explanation given by the Director of Public Security, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al Bassami, about the most prominent results of the security missions that were achieved during the last period in the fight against drugs, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Interior Dr. Nasser Al-Daoud, Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs Lieutenant General Saeed Al-Qahtani, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Hisham Al-Faleh, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, Muhammad Al-Muhanna.
