The Secretary-General expressed his confident aspirations that the Jeddah summit would represent a new breakthrough in the form, content, intensity and speed of joint Arab action, in a way that achieves the hopes of the peoples to start a new era based on the elements of joint coordination, to deal with the challenges of security and stability, in addition to collective Arab action, to achieve the titles of the development stage. Aspired by the Arab peoples in the context of peace and stability in a way that guarantees opportunities for Arab integration, and enhances the ability to win the bets of food security, combating terrorism, and comprehensive and sustainable development based on the abundant material and human capabilities of the Arab world.
He praised the level of cooperation, coordination, and exchange of opinion and advice between the Cooperation Council and the Arab League, given that this is of great importance in raising Arab capabilities to face geostrategic challenges in line with responding to the requirements of the current stage in various fields in order to keep pace with changes in the region and to strengthen joint follow-up mechanisms for current developments and their immediate and future effects.
