The day after tomorrow (Sunday) the activities of the Arab Media Forum in its eighteenth session will be launched in Kuwait under the title “The Future of Media… Media of the Future”, under the auspices of the Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. A number of ministers, media professionals, specialized experts, and those interested in media affairs.
The Arab Media Forum will discuss, through 14 rich dialogue sessions, many important issues related to the media industry and its various issues, as well as shed light on the various developments and changes in the media and communication industry.
The agenda of the forum includes many sessions, workshops and lectures as follows:
Day 1.. Sunday 28 May 2023:
– At 10:00, a session entitled “The Future of Media – Media of the Future”, and the speakers:
– Hatem Al-Taie – Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ruya Newspaper (Amman), Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khatabi – Assistant Secretary-General for Media and Communication Sector in the League of Arab States, Jamil Al-Dhiabi – Editor-in-Chief of Okaz Newspaper (Saudi Arabia), Walid Al-Jassem – Editor-in-Chief of Al-Rai Newspaper (Kuwait), The session will be moderated by: Lafi Al-Subaie – Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Press, Publishing and Publications (Kuwait).
At 10:45, a session entitled “Passion for Success” and the speakers:
Osama Al Naasan (Syria), Shihab Al Hashemi (UAE), Maryam Bashat (Lebanon), Alaa Bushnaq (Jordan), Farah Yasmin (Algeria), Hawra Al Farisiyya (Oman), and the session will be moderated by: Bibi Al Khodary (Kuwait).
At 11:45, a session entitled “The Power of Media and the Multiple Sources” and its speakers:
– Nabil Al-Hamar – Advisor to the King of Bahrain (Bahrain), Ziad Makari – Minister of Information (Lebanon), – Khaled Al-Malik – Editor-in-Chief of Al-Jazeera newspaper (Saudi Arabia), Dr. Hala Sarhan – Journalist (Egypt), and Amer Rajoub – Journalist (Jordan) moderates the session ).
At 12:30, a session entitled “The Duality of Media and Life” and its speakers:
Mustafa Al-Agha – presenter (Syria), Mai Al-Khatib – presenter (Syria), and the session is moderated by: Ramy Radwan (Egypt).
At 13:00, a session entitled “The Power of Media”, and the speakers:
Dr. Khaled Ghattas – (Lebanon), and the session will be moderated by: Nishan – (Lebanon).
At 13:30, a session entitled “Content Creation in Social Media” and speakers:
Abeer Al-Saghir (Lebanon), Ali Al-Khalidi (Iraq), Basant Noureddine (Egypt), and moderators: Amal Arrab (Algeria).
At 14:00, a session entitled “The Future of Media in the Shadow of Artificial Intelligence” and its speakers:

Sami Al-Nisf, former Minister of Information (Kuwait), Ali Al-Rumaihi, former Minister of Information (Bahrain), Dr. Abdul Moneim Al-Hasani, former Minister of Information (Oman), and the session will be moderated by: Abdullah Al-Mudaifer (Saudi Arabia).
At 10:45, a session entitled “Content Industry in Arab Drama” and its speakers:
Rafik Ali Ahmed – Artist (Lebanon), Claudia Marcellian – Writer (Lebanon), Dr. Medhat El-Adl, Producer (Egypt), Mona Al-Shammari – Writer (Kuwait), and the session will be moderated by Zahi Wehbe (Lebanon).
At 11:30, a session entitled “Words and Pictures” and the speakers:
