The German newspaper “Spiegel” did not rule out the involvement of Ukrainians in the bombing of the “Nord Stream” pipelines. And revealed in a report, today (Friday), that the German Federal Intelligence Service had received many information from the intelligence of partner countries talking about this possibility. And the newspaper revealed that Berlin had obtained many information from foreign intelligence, which suggested that the perpetrators were Ukrainians, and pointed out that German investigators are currently busy answering the question of whether a group not under the control of Kiev or the Ukrainian intelligence carried out the bombings.
According to what was reported by the newspaper, German experts believe that the possibility of the Russian side carrying out the bombings is “very small.” However, the newspaper’s sources in the investigative bodies confirmed that the identifying data of the message that was sent to rent the yacht “Andromeda”, which is likely to be involved in transporting explosives, “leads to Ukraine.”
The explosions in September caused the two Nord Stream pipelines, which were built to transport gas from Russia to Europe, to stop working.
In this context, British reports considered that the cause of the explosions was still not officially clear, as immediately after the explosions, some Western countries pointed the finger at Russia, while Moscow blamed Western countries, including the United Kingdom. However, intelligence information recently revealed that the explosions were carried out by pro-Ukrainian agents, but it denied the knowledge of the Kiev government or its participation in it.
