The Asir region police arrested a citizen driving a vehicle containing 49,200 tablets regulated by medical circulation, on a special mission, and in continuation of the security campaign against drug smugglers and promoters.
The police stated that the Task Force and Duties were able to monitor criminal activity to promote 49,200 tablets subject to the regulation of medical circulation in one of the buildings of Al-Jawah Center in Sarat Abidah Governorate, and to arrest a citizen driving a vehicle with the seized quantity inside, and he was stopped and regular measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the competent authority.
It calls on the security authorities to report all information available to citizens and residents about any activities related to drug smuggling or promotion, by calling the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions, and the Directorate’s communications number.
