King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah announced that 30 items are prohibited from being transported in baggage by plane, and they will be confiscated, and the traveler has no right to claim them.
Founder’s Airport alerted departing pilgrims about 30 dangerous and prohibited items in the baggage, of which 16 items are prohibited from being carried in the travel cabins, and these materials included war knives, compressed gases, toxic liquids, blades, baseball bats, skateboards, explosives or crackers. Prohibited items include imitation or firearms, magnetic materials, radioactive or corrosive materials, equipment, nail clippers and files, shears, knives, meat cleavers, and ammunition.
The list of dangerous materials that are prohibited from being transported in all baggage included 14 items, including oxidants, organic peroxides, radioactive materials, electric shock devices, disabling devices, automatic skateboards, liquid oxygen devices, in addition to toxic or biological materials that transmit infection, matches, lighters and flammable liquids.
Among the prohibited materials: compressed gases, explosives or firecrackers, safes or businessmen’s bags in the form of boxes, firearms and imitation weapons, magnetic materials, and corrosive materials.
And King Abdulaziz International Airport stressed that the 30 prohibited items will be confiscated, and the traveler has no right to claim them, and warned that the traveler should contact the airlines for more details.
