Volunteers of different ages are involved in providing care for pilgrims at the Prophet’s Mosque, organizing crowds on the entry and exit paths, guiding the lost, assisting the elderly and people with disabilities, and facilitating their access to the mosque’s doors by wheelchairs.
A number of volunteers, affiliates of the Ethar Center for Voluntary Work in the Madinah Education Department, chose to practice volunteer work after the end of their academic year, and devote their time to serving the guests of Rahman in the Prophet’s Mosque and its squares, as they spend hours of the day in their work with passion and a sense of pride in supporting the relevant authorities in serving the pilgrims. And visitors during prayer times, and to make all possible forms of care for them, under the supervision of the Department of Volunteer Work at the Agency of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque.
