The Council made its decision after listening to the point of view of the Media Committee, which was read by the Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Fahd Al-Tayyash, regarding the members’ remarks and opinions that they expressed in a previous session regarding what was included in the annual report of the Radio and Television Corporation for the fiscal year 1443/1444, after it was presented for discussion.
In its decision, the Council called on the Commission to develop a standard mechanism for selecting and producing distinguished programs internally or by contracting out, based on the objectives of defining the image of Saudi Arabia, highlighting its status, achieving public viewing rates and advertising sponsorship. The Committee took the content of an additional recommendation to this recommendation made by Council member Bandar Asiri.
In its decision, the Council affirmed that the Radio and Television Corporation should review the impact of strategic partnerships and media, production and digital contracts signed with private sector institutions on building national human cadres and the competitiveness of its channels and platforms in the media and advertising.
The council called on the authority to conduct a comprehensive study to assess the extent of benefiting from the land owned by it in all regions of Saudi Arabia, and to determine the extent of future benefit from it for the media and engineering work of the authority.
In another decision taken during the session, the Shura Council called on the Ministry of Culture to pay attention to the intangible cultural heritage of all regions of Saudi Arabia and to introduce it and its various styles locally, regionally and globally.
The Council made its decision after listening to the viewpoint of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, which was read by the Chairman of the Committee, Nasser Al-Deghaither, regarding the members’ remarks and opinions that they expressed in a previous session regarding what was included in the annual report of the Ministry of Culture for the fiscal year 1443/1444, after it was put up for discussion.
In its decision, the Council called on the Ministry, represented by the Costume Authority, to document the traditional costumes of each region of Saudi Arabia, display them and introduce them internally and externally.
In the same decision, the Shura Council affirmed that the ministry should redouble efforts to ensure the achievement of its objectives in accordance with the specified timetables.
The Council called on the Ministry to review the large number of committees to which it is affiliated, and to consider the possibility of assigning the work carried out by the committees to the executive departments.
The council also called on the ministry to reconsider the distribution of workers in its affiliated bodies in order to achieve the maximum benefit from male and female employees and to provide the necessary human resources to perform its tasks.
In its decision, the Council affirmed that the Ministry should increase the representation of its affiliated bodies in the Ministry’s branches and offices in all regions of Saudi Arabia, which is an additional recommendation made by Council member Dr. Ali Al-Ali, and the Committee has accepted its content.

In its decision, the Council affirmed that the Food and Drug Authority should study the causes of stumbling and delay in some of its projects, and work to address them and prepare a plan to meet its building needs, in coordination with the General Authority for State Real Estate.

The Council made its decision after listening to a response from the Chairman of the Financial and Economic Committee, Ibrahim Al-Mufleh, regarding the remarks and opinions made by the members of the Council regarding the contents of the annual report of the National Center for Debt Management for the fiscal year 1443/1444, after it was presented for discussion during this session.
In its decision, the Council demanded the center, in partnership with the relevant authorities, to set a time plan with specific goals, to facilitate updates of some indicators of developments and movement of vision programs through the official websites of these agencies.
In the same session, the Council issued a decision regarding what was included in the annual report of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority for the fiscal year 1443/1444, after listening to the view of the Financial and Economic Committee, which was read by the Chairman of the Committee, Ibrahim Al-Mufleh, regarding the members’ remarks and opinions they expressed regarding what was included in the annual report. to the Commission after putting it up for discussion in a previous session.
