Today (Monday), Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan participated in the joint ministerial meeting between the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, they reviewed Gulf-Russian relations and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing developments in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, international efforts to resolve the crisis politically, and support for all efforts that achieve international peace and security.
The meeting also touched on intensifying joint coordination on many regional and international issues, and multilateral action, in addition to discussing strengthening economic cooperation and achieving international sustainable development goals.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Russian Federation, Abd al-Rahman al-Ahmad, and the Director General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abd al-Rahman al-Daoud.
