The US Embassy in Saudi Arabia announced new procedures for issuing visas to citizens.
The embassy in Riyadh issued a notice of facilitating visa renewal procedures for Saudi citizens with the interview exemption program.
And the US embassy published on its Twitter account a notice from the embassy advisor for consular affairs for the benefit of applicants to obtain a travel visa to the United States.
“Visa renewal is now easier with the Interview Waiver Program,” the announcement stated.
The embassy said, “If you are a Saudi citizen, 17 years of age or younger, or 40 years and older, and hold a valid or recently expired B1/B2 visa, you may be able to renew it via express delivery. For more information, contact us at 0115103731 or [email protected].
The embassy directed the Saudis who are not eligible for the exemption program that they can apply online, while confirming that “the waiting time for an appointment for a visa interview will be reduced in half,” to conclude its announcement with the phrase, “Welcome to America.”
