The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at resolving conflicts by peaceful means, and enhancing security and trade relations within the region, stressing the permanent endeavor of the GCC countries to enhance Gulf integration and unity, and collectively address common challenges.
This came during his participation today (Tuesday) in the Gulf Research Forum in its thirteenth session, which is organized by the Gulf Research Center, at the University of Cambridge, Britain, via video conference.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan explained that the Arab Gulf states operate as a force based on cooperation, and seek to use their strategic location, basic capabilities, resources and capabilities in order to act as a bridge linking the East with the West and the North with the South.
He added, “Our main priorities have always been, whether within the region or at the global level, to create conditions for development and prosperity, and this will be the main driver of our foreign and security policies, and this is my primary work in my capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
